Over the weekend I attended the University of Illinois home opener. I can’t say that I am a hardcore Illini fan but I do enjoy the Big Ten and SEC conference teams. The Illini usually kicks of their Season against teams that they are favored to beat, winning now their 20th straight game opener. This game against Ball State was no walk in the park; the Illini needed a blocked field goal to stop Ball State from tying the game late in the fourth. Illinois 24 Ball State 21
